Healthcare Story

I can remember the day my mom got diagnosed with cancer and how numb and helpless we all felt. She was given 7 months to live and several medications to help make her feel “normal,” that we had to pick up after her appointment. We got to giggling about how we were more focused on our horrible ‘cry-faces’ and having to go in public than the actual news itself. I feel like the healthcare system drops the ball in times like these because they don’t understand (or care) how inconvenient it is to run an errand after hearing you have months to live. Needless to say, I’m super pumped to be working with a company that recognizes that problem!
